This trip is designed to be an add-on to the West Mexico trip and gives participants an opportunity to photograph some of the special birds that can be found in the vicinity of Oaxaca City.  Some of the species that we hope to photograph during this quick trip include Red Warbler, Golden-browed Warbler, Bridled Sparrow, Ocellated Thrasher, Slaty Vireo, Long-tailed Wood-Partridge, Dwarf Jay, Gray-barred Wren, Gray Silky-Flycatcher, Crescent-chested Warbler, Collared Towhee, Rufous-capped Brush-Finch, Boucard’s Wren, Mountain Trogon and many more.

This trip is also an excellent opportunity for those who have limited time to photograph some of the highlights from this area.  This trip is appropriate for photographers of all skill levels and is designed to be low impact without a high level of physical exertion.  The cost is $1430 per person for a shared room and an additional $220 for a private room.
