Services Provided

With Texas Target Birds I offer both guiding services and photography instruction.  My customers range from those wanting to do a day of birding around the Houston area to get familiar with some of the local birding hotspots to serious photographers who want to get photos of a few select target species to people who want to do a comprehensive birding trip around Texas.  Whatever your birding and photography needs are I can put something together for you.

My basic fee is $150 per day for the first person and $50 for each additional person.  Each client will have to cover the expense of transportation, lodging and food.  Because my trips are designed just for you there is some flexibility in my fees, especially for multiple day trips. Just email me and let me know what you have in mind and I can prepare a quote for you.

If you are doing a multiple day trip that involves me booking things like hotels, rental cars, boat rides, etc. I will need an advance deposit of 25% of the trip cost.



Also, if you are a Canon shooter and are interested in using one of my telephoto lenses, I have an EF 400mm f/5.6L USM, EF 400mm f/2.8L IS USM, EF 500mm f/4L IS USM and EF 600mm f/4L IS USM as well as a sturdy tripod and Wimberly gimbal head that you can use for a fee of $50/day.
